Films: Deep Red (1975)
Alias: None
Type: Natural
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Hurah, another venture into family matters and mass murder sprees only the Giallo sub-genre can produce. Oh the joy, oh the rejoice. But damn, is it violent.
History: Martha was a mentally unstable woman who was going to be sent to the psychiatric ward by her husband, but instead he got murdered by her in front of their son, Carlos. From that fateful day, the incident was immortalized (sort of) in a book known as "House of the Screaming Child", and the two nutjobs are still killing people to this day.
Notable Kills: Carlos manages to kill someone by drowning her in not just water, but the hot scalding sort.
Final Fate: Carlos suffers a particularly humiliating demise via getting hooked onto the rope of a truck and dragged across the road. Martha follows suit by getting violently decapitated when her necklace gets caught in an elevator shaft.
Powers/Abilities: None
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3-Trenchcoats are a bit cliché, but when you want to stick to the shadows and come off as mysterious, it gets the job done. A pity they both went out like wimps.
Trivia: -This film's original Italian title was "Profondo rosso" or "The Hatchet Murders".
-This film's director, Dario Argento, would go on to open a movie memorabilia store in Rome named after the original title.
